We provide snow clearing and snow removal services for residential and commercial clients. Wherever snow needs to be removed; from driveways to parking lots to pathways, we make sure that areas are clear, safe and accessible. Every year, we see new independent contractors offering snow clearing, plowing and hauling services – but will they be around come January? Landscape Plus has been in business since 1992.
Alberta weather, and especially its snowfalls, can be wildly unpredictable. You need a company that is prompt, thorough and reliable. Our winter service plans include:

Our winter service commitment
When a snow event is in the forecast, our staff are alerted and ready to go. We ensure that we have a sufficient crew and equipment to take care of our customer’s needs. The team will head out in the wee hours of the morning to begin snow clean up. We look for all the edges of the sidewalks and make sure all handicap ramps at cross walks are cleared.
Team boss Debbie Widdifield and her crew run two truck mounted plows, 2 skid steers, one Toolcat™, two sanders as well as backpack blowers and of course shovels. (Backpack blowers are great for clearing the walks as they clear the corners and hard to reach places that shovels can’t do.). If the customer requests, arrangements are made to haul snow away.
When the weather gets warmer, we check customer sites daily, as the freeze/thaw cycle can create slippery conditions if left to build up. We attempt to stay ahead of it, and clear build ups. Where buildups are unavoidable, a sander is sent out or we spot apply ice melt where needed.
Alberta winters are notorious for a continuous cycle of thawing and then freezing, sanding is a vital safety service and our customer’s rely on us to do it right.”
