Real Christmas Tree – Fraser Fir
The Fraser Firs holiday trees we carry at Landscape Plus have traveled here from the East Coast of Canada. The needles have a bluish/silver hue. Because they grow in higher elevations with a shorter growing season, the trunk and branches are sturdier than other Christmas Trees. More expensive as it takes a few more years of growth to get a taller tree. A close relative of the Balsam Fir, we carry our Fraser’s in a higher grade level with fewer imperfections. They have a light fragrance and dense foliage.
Pros: Excellent needle retention. Strong branches can hold heavy ornaments. Elegant and stately.
Cons: More expensive. No small sizes.
